Jquery
jQuery is a widely-used JavaScript library designed to simplify the complexities of client-side scripting. It provides an easy-to-use API that works across a multitude of browsers. Its core purpose is to make HTML document traversal and manipulation, event handling, animation, and Ajax much simpler with an easy-to-use API that works across a multitude of browsers. When loaded in a browser, jQuery extends the global `window` object with a `jQuery` function (also aliased as `$`). Developers use these functions to select HTML elements, manipulate their content, handle user events, animate elements, and perform asynchronous HTTP requests (Ajax). It does not inherently collect personal data or set tracking cookies for its own operation. Its behavior is entirely determined by how the website developer uses its functionalities. For instance, a developer might use jQuery to fetch data from an API, respond to button clicks, or animate a menu, all without any inherent privacy implications from the library itself.
